The First Trek of the Season although late has been scheduled for the 22nd of August at Anjaneri -the birthplace of the Indian Superhero-Hanuman. He as we all know was born to Anjani and the wind god-Pawan on the hill of Anjaneri!


Located at 4264 ft above sea level, Anjaneri has major significance for devout and hikers alike. It also played a major role during the reign of Marathas and has witnessed many acts of valor!




The easy two hour climb will not only reward you with splendid views of the Mighty Sahyadris that surround the place but would be a refreshing change from the daily urban routine. Ancient Jain caves and temples dot the route to the peak and mischievous monkeys give you company on your way.






The Anjaneri fort has a huge perimeter and it commands magnificent views of Bhramagiri, Vaitarna Back Waters and the Trimbakeshwar Peak. Backed by local support and and awe inspiring beauty of the hills of Anjaneri , Breakfree Journeys promises to make this trek a memorable one!



6 AM: Assemble at Dadar TT

6.15AM: Depart after headcount

7AM: Pick up from Thane

11AM: Reach CBS, Nasik

11AM-12PM: Light Lunch

12.30PM: Reach Base Village-Anjaneri

12.45PM: Climb begins

3PM: Capture Summit

3PM-4PM: Rest and Pictures

4PM: Descend Begins

6PM: Reach base Village, proceed to CBS

6.30PM: After a quick bite, head towards Mumbai

11.00PM: Touchdown at Mumbai


Bare Essentials

1. Rucksack containing non perishable food items( biscuits, bread), extra pair of clothing, torch, lighter, penknife, compass, towel or napkin, water bottle

2. Apparel: Light Fitting Pants, Shoes with a strong grip, T-shirt and windcheater

3. Misc: Money, luck charms, cameras, binoculars, weapon of any kind, rope, plastic sheets and bags to collect the waste, tumbler, sanitizer, soap paper and tissues.

Per Head Charges:

Rs. 700 inclusive of transport, 1 energy drink, 1 mineral water bottle, lunch and evening snacks, 1 energy bar and whole lotta fun!
